No, we ultimately decided not to reserve a block of rooms for a few reasons. Most of the wedding party, family, and guests live within 30 minutes of the venue, so any hotel would be within the same range of distance. It is much more affordable and logical for those who live nearby to set up transportation home via rideshare or other means. Additionally, the World Cup is happening in East Rutherford during Summer 2026, so hotels in the surrounding area are coming at a premium, with reserved blocks requiring exorbitant reservation fees.

We recommend selecting an AirBnB or a hotel that's located south or west of the venue, as areas north of the venue are coming at a premium due to the World Cup. Some excellent choices within 30 minutes or less of the venue include: Bloomfield, Piscataway, Westfield, Montclair, South Plainfield, and Maplewood to name a few!
